This is further enhanced by Mahlkönig’s patented Disc Distance Detection (DDD), which allows baristas to set the degree of fineness based on the actual measured distance between the burrs, removing the variability of traditional adjustment dials.

The integrated Portafilter Detection system automatically recognises the portafilter, selects the appropriate grinding preset, and initiates the process. This automation reduces staff training requirements, prevents dosing errors, and recovers valuable time for the barista to focus on drink preparation. Combined with an active cooling system and a high-resolution display, the E65S GBW provides unmatched control and repeatability for high-volume specialty coffee environments.
